To prepare young accountants to meet the complex, changing needs of a global economy, educational standards have been raised. That’s a good thing! But families are struggling harder to pay for their children’s education.
Median tuition at a four-year college in Alabama increased 126% in the past ten years, while median household income grew less than 23%. The average debt of Alabama four-year college students graduating in 2009 was $24,000.00 So, unfortunately, young professionals are starting their careers deeper in debt.
