ASCPA Branding and Image Task Force
This task force was a product of the 2011 Leadership Retreat of the ASCPA Board of Directors. The Board felt that the CPA brand needed to be reinforced to the general public and the Society should do a better job of translating complex financial issues through the media.
The result has been a two-pronged approach; the purchase of radio and outdoor advertising and the revitalization of the CPA Ambassador program, which trains members to channel messages to local media.
Radio advertising has run during the 2011 football season and the three billboards will be in place through April. CPA Ambassadors will attend conference calls to freshen their skills and a new class of Ambassadors will be held January 20.
