Boyd J. Landry

Public Affairs Director

Boyd Landry is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive governmental relations program for the Society.  He serves as an advocate before state officials on issues critical to Alabama CPAs and provides timely updates to members on proposed or pending legislation.  Boyd manages the ASCPA Key Person Network and assists the CEO as liaison to the ALA/CPA/PAC. He is active with the eleven chapter areas of the ASCPA; attending meetings and communicating information about chapter activities.  He works with the Communications Department on various student initiatives, including the Dollars and Sense classroom blitz and the Students’ Guide to Alabama Accounting Firms. Boyd creates and distributes a digital newsletter for students, The General Ledger, and assists the Communications Director in developing image and branding opportunities, including making media buys.
