Activate/Update Firm Referral Information
The CPA Referral Service is a database designed to help individuals and businesses find a Certified Public Accountant to assist them with a variety of services.
How does it work?
When a business or individual needs to find a CPA firm, they contact the CPA Referral Service by either calling the Society or by visiting our web site. The database allows a person or business to search for a CPA firm by choosing a location and any combination of 60+ service sectors as criteria. Once their criteria are entered, the database quickly produces matches to meet their needs.
How will people find out about the CPA Referral Service?
The service is marketed through our monthly magazine, our web site, and advertising.
Who can participate in the CPA Referral Service?
The firm must be licensed and in good standing with the Alabama State Board of Accountancy to practice public accounting. Additionally, the firm must have at least one staff member who is an ASCPA member. This service is free of charge for our members meeting the above criteria.
How do I register my firm?
Your firm must activate their account by updating their information before the public can view it on our website.
To update your firm’s information:
1.) An ASCPA Member from your office must login in order to update the services offered by your public accounting firm.
2.) Check off the services offered by your firm and submit the changes.
3.) If you prefer to mail in the changes please click here for a printable form. > “CPA Referral Form for Firms"
